As Year 2 hurtle towards the end of their 'All the fun of the fair' learning experience, they are putting together final preparations for their performance on Thursday afternoon where they will showcase their circus skills!
Inspired by their work on Beetle Boy by MG Leonard and the accompanying Beetle Collector’s Handbook, our talented Year 6 children have been creating their own beetles and drawing detailed, annotated diagrams.
Year 3 had a fabulous afternoon when The Chichester Harbour Conservancy visited to teach us about plastic pollution. They were accompanied by a local art student who provided us with a workshop, making swans with recycled milk bottles.
The final race of the Corporate Challenge took place last night. A team of sixteen, made up of children from Year 5 and 6, took part in the event and each week they have challenged themselves to improve on their previous times.
On Wednesday afternoon, Fishbourne competed in their last swimming gala of the year. 6 boys and 6 girls from Years 3-6 travelled to Arun Leisure Centre in Felpham.
On Friday afternoon Phil, from Jaws and Claws, visited Year 6 with a wide range of his pets! The children got to stroke or hold cockroaches, snakes, tortoises, tree frogs, African snails and many more!
WOW WOW WOW!!!! What an amazing night for Fishbourne School on Saturday. For the first time we were invited to take part in the Cormorants Chichester Schools Gala.
Some children in year 6 competed in the Hi 5 netball finals at The Regis School on Thursday 21st March.They had already been placed in the top 6 out of 24 teams which allowed them to progress to these finals.
