Today (for me) it was the best day out of all. First, we had abseiling which was my favourite activity because I had my own little job. My job was to unclip everyone and get it ready for the next person.
After we had breakfast, we went to archery! We both got so close to balls-eye. There is a rumour that Mrs Williams is actually better than Maid Marian because she hit the bulls-eye three times!
We woke up this morning after our first nights sleep. Droopy yet excited, we rose out of are cosy beds. After our warm showers, we were shown to the dining hall for are tasty breakfast. We had pancakes and toast; the pancakes got demolished in seconds.
At school today we have given children opportunities to talk in their classrooms about the death of the Queen yesterday, a significant moment in our history.
We had a very special afternoon at the cathedral where we joined Y6 children from across the diocese to reflect together on our time in primary school and look forward to the future and the adventures that lie in store at our new schools.
Yesterday Jess came in to lead us in our first communion service for a couple of years. It was a very special time together to spend as a school family and each child received a blessing from Jess.
Today we welcomed Sophy back for her summer term visit. Sophy Henn is our amazing Patron of Reading and she is a hugely important part of our school family.
