Mrs Buchan modelled a lesson focused on improper and mixed number fractions.
In it, she modelled the mastery approach and our staff team were able to observe, participate and reflect on what they had seen! Later in the term, we will be using lesson study to support the teaching team to reflect on their own practice and identify the principles of mastery that they are using in their own approaches.
